§ 36 You shall say “Thank you for last time” when you meet someone you have met before if you remember that person 

“Takk for sist” is used to show that you remember the person or to remind that person that you actually have met before.

This is especially useful if the other person does not seem to recognize you.

This will save the other person from the social discomfort of not remembering someone who remembers you.
