§ 29 You shall stand up and offer your seat to people who are obviously old, pregnant, or handicapped

Only if they seem to be looking for a place to sit.

If you leave your seat for a woman who isn’t pregnant, handicapped or has not realized that she looks old, it will backfire.

If you are uncertain, it might be safer not to try.
